The colour of our products may fade over time, especially if stored in direct sunlight, fluorescent lighting, or in warmer temperatures. We recommend storing Purist Organics products in a cool, dark location to prevent colour fade. If the colour pigment in your Purist Organics product fades over time, rest assured it will not impact the quality or integrity of the product or active ingredients and your product remains effective throughout the Period After Opening (PAO) date. The PAO date is printed on every Purist Organics product label and outer box, represented as an open-jar icon with “12M” (or other timeline) printed inside the jar icon, which represents the product is good for “12 Months” after opening.
NEED TO KNOW
- Avoid using this serum with other strong acids to avoid skin irritation.
- Apply once or twice a day as required. If you have sensitive skin, start by applying just once a day, preferably at night. You can gradually build up to once a day application, then when your skin becomes used to the serum, you may be able to apply twice per day.
- Actives in this formulations are a gradual process which takes commitment to see results. Most users can see changes within 4 to 6 weeks of using the serum. Regular application is important.
- Always do a patch test before full application.
- To prevent dark spots from worsening, always wear sunscreen during the day. Skin will be more sensitive to direct sunlight when using this product. At east SPF15 to SPF30 is strongly advised before going outdoors
- Use the cleanser and serum daily for at least 8-12 weeks to see noticeable improvements.
- You can pair with a gentle exfoliant in the evening (1 - 2 x weekly) to enhance the serum’s effectiveness.
